How does the voice intro work?
Pick a line you want others to hear or write your own, and haru generates it in your own voice. It appears alongside your profile photo in the Explore tab, letting your voice make the first impression.
Can I chat with people who speak other languages?
Yes. When you send a message, it's automatically translated into the other person's language and delivered in 'your own voice.' No separate translation app needed — you can have a natural cross-language conversation right inside haru.
Do I have to upload real photos?
No. You can create an art profile that adds an artistic touch to your real photo. If sharing a real photo feels uncomfortable, you can start comfortably with an art profile.
Which countries can I meet people from?
haru starts with Korea and Japan and is expanding to the US and beyond. It's a great fit if you want to make friends from other countries or practice a language.
What is the minimum age to use haru?
haru is available only to users aged 18 and over.
Is my voice data kept safe?
